About the Event

The Texas Dermatological Society (TDS) is so excited about our first ever virtual conference! TDS is fortunate to have Dr. Katherine Fiala and the team at Baylor Scott & White Temple to assist with the educational program for this event! The event will deliver a highly interactive, 3D environment with lectures from some of the best speakers around the country! It will also feature an interactive exhibit hall, resident poster session, an interactive lounge, games, raffles, social happy hours and so much more!

Daniel D. Bennett, MD

Dr. Bennett is a dermatologist and dermatopathologist at the University of Wisconsin – Madison where
he is Associate Professor and Vice Chair in the Department of Dermatology. He is the current Assistant
Secretary-Treasurer of the American Academy of Dermatology/Association. Dr. Bennett was raised in
Austin, attended college in Houston, and completed his dermatology residency at UT Southwestern
Medical Center in Dallas. From 2005-2010 he was Assistant Professor at Texas A&M HSC-COM and on
senior staff in the Department of Dermatology at Scott & White in Temple. He and his wife, Rachel, a
family physician, have two teenage daughters, both proudly born in Texas.

Amit Pandya, MD

Dr. Amit G. Pandya is a Dermatologist at the Palo Alto Medical Foundation in Mountain View, California
and a Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in
Dallas, Texas. His clinical practice and research is focused on vitiligo, melasma and other pigmentary
disorders. In his free time he enjoys traveling, scuba diving, hiking, bicycling, salsa and bachata dancing
with his wife Laura.

Stephen E. Wolverton, MD

Dr. Stephen Wolverton is currently a Theodore Arlook Professor of Dermatology at the Indiana
University School of Medicine. Dr. Wolverton’s clinical interests include drug reactions, drug safety
issues – especially systemic drugs used in dermatology, cutaneous signs of systemic diseases, medical
education with dermatology residents and systemic drugs used in dermatology.

Pamela S. Greene, MD

Dr. Pamela Greene has practiced obstetrics and gynecology at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center-Temple for the last 34 years. She has also served as the medical director of the BSW Forensic Medicine Program since 1998. The program includes the Sexual Assault and Violence Response Team for adult
victims of sexual abuse, domestic violence, strangulation and human trafficking.  It also includes the Child Protection Team at Baylor Scott & White McLane Children’s Medical Center which evaluates children who are victims of physical abuse, sexual abuse or human trafficking. Dr. Greene is the co-chair of the human trafficking taskforce for 23 Baylor Scott & White Medical Centers across central and north

Chad D. Housewright, MD

Chad Housewright, MD is a graduate of the Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine. He completed a dermatology residency at Scott and White Memorial Hospital and a Mohs Micrographic Surgery Fellowship at the Dermatology and Skin Cancer Center in Leawood, Kansas. He currently serves as the Director of Dermatologic Surgery at Baylor Scott and White in Temple, TX.

Dr. Sophia Hendrick is a board certified dermatologists and is the director of pediatric dermatology at Baylor Scott & White Temple. Dr. Hendrick is a pediatric dermatology specialist and has over 38 years of experience in the field.
